nanoe™ X Technology: Healthy and Clean Air

The nanoe™ X technology uses hydroxyl radicals to purify the environment. These natural radicals neutralize viruses, bacteria, mold and odors, improving air quality in the home or office. In addition, the treatment can be applied to fabrics, curtains, carpets and surfaces, helping to keep the entire environment sanitized and pleasant.

Hydroxyl radicals are unstable molecules that react with other elements such as hydrogen, capturing it. Through this reaction, hydroxyl radicals inhibit the development of various pollutants such as bacteria, viruses, molds, and odors, neutralizing their unpleasant effects. This natural process has important benefits as it helps to improve the quality of indoor environments.

Panasonic's nanoe™ X technology takes this a step further and brings these natural substances, hydroxyl radicals, into the interior of rooms in order to ensure greater comfort and well-being. By generating hydroxyl radicals in water, nanoe™ X technology significantly increases their effectiveness and durability from less than one second in nature to more than 600 seconds (10 minutes), so that nanoe™ X can reach greater distances. Hydroxyl radicals inhibit pollutants, viruses and bacteria and deodorize the environment. Even tightly woven fabrics can be treated with nanoe™ X technology, as well as curtains, blinds, carpets, and furniture, including the most difficult surfaces and, of course, even the air we breathe.

Customized Comfort with Aerowings 2.0

Panasonic's Aerowings feature incorporates two independent fins that concentrate airflow to heat or cool the room as quickly as possible while helping to evenly distribute fresh air throughout the room. With a new wider secondary fin (72 mm), more than twice the size of other conventional models, control over the direction of airflow has been further improved.

• In heating mode, the Aerowings 2.0 function directs the airflow from top to bottom to achieve an effect similar to underfloor heating. The flow rises and ensures an even distribution of air in the room.
• Aerowings 2.0 has a new cooling function that allows airflow to be directed toward the ceiling to ensure even air distribution and greater comfort without being subjected to direct exposure to a cold airflow.

Indoor Cleaning for an Always Efficient Air Conditioner

The internal cleaning function allows you to sanitize the internal structure of the indoor unit. It uses nanoe™ X technology that can inhibit up to 99% adhesion of bacteria, viruses, and mold to the filter, evaporator, and outlet air. The new cross-flow fan is coated to prevent dust from adhering to its surfaces and can be effective against some types of bacteria and mold.
