Honeywell Notifier 400N electromagnetic door holder is designed to hold open fire doors, automatic gates or fire shutters, offering maximum safety and compliance with European fire regulations (EN1155 and DIN EN14637). Connected to a fire detection or smoke control system, it releases the door when the power is turned off, activating the automatic door closer to prevent the spread of smoke and flames.
The electromagnet integrates a manual release button that allows the door to close immediately even in the absence of signaling from the fire panel. The spring-loaded anti-remanence pin ensures zero residual force upon deactivation of the solenoid, enabling fast and safe closing of the fire door.
With its compact, low-profile design, this electromagnetic latch can be installed on walls, ceilings or floors, making it ideal for any architectural configuration. The angle-adjustable anchor plate facilitates alignment with the door. The housing is protected against reverse polarity and has a spark suppression diode to ensure maximum circuit life.
