The VEDOISO BUS Isolator Module is a component designed to ensure continuity of communication and active protection of the RS485 BUS within alarm and security systems based on Vedo control panels. Compliant with EN50131-1 and EN50131-3 standards, it provides effective protection from faults, short circuits or sabotage attempts while maintaining network integrity.
With its BUS isolation and regeneration function, the VEDOISO module prevents the propagation of electrical faults along the system, enabling stable operation even in the event of local faults. It is equipped with a regenerated BUS output, which makes it possible to physically separate routes and ensure signal restoration even over longer distances.
Housed in a compact plastic case, the module is designed for quick DIN-rail installation, making it suitable for switchboards and alarm control panels. Its small size (56 x 53 x 19 mm) allows installation even in tight spaces.
VEDOISO is fully integrable with Vedo series alarm systems, thanks to its direct connection to the system bus. With a transmission rate of up to 38400 bps, it ensures fast and reliable communications between devices.
The module operates on a power supply between 10 and 15 Vdc, with maximum power consumption of 40 mA during operation and stand-by at 40 mA. It can operate in environments with temperatures between -10 °C and +55 °C, adapting to multiple application contexts.
