This current transformer is suitable for all applications where accurate measurement of the electrical load is required, without interrupting the main circuit. It safely transforms high line current into a standardized secondary signal that can be used by energy analysis instruments, differential protectors, meters and automation devices.

Robust, insulated plastic construction ensures safety in low-voltage environments, while the compact design allows mounting in tight spaces within electrical panels.

Ease of installation and compatibility

The CT1M-2 allows the insertion of bars or conductors with cross-sections up to 21 mm in diameter or 20 x 10 mm, making it versatile in various configurations. It can be both DIN rail and panel mounted, providing flexibility in switchboard layout.

It is fully compatible with ABB instruments for measurement and protection, as well as with third-party devices, thanks to its normalized 5 A secondary.

Standards and sustainability

The transformer complies with IEC 61869-2 and meets the most stringent European environmental directives, such as RoHS, REACH and WEEE. It is classified as an ETIM EC002048 product and can be recycled at end of life, according to current regulations.
