Hiltron control unit for rolling shutter 700VA 24V power supply 230V PCM1

ThePCM1 is an automation control unit for rolling shutters, and only works with gearmotors equipped with limit switches, as these are useful for the processor to establish the operating logic, timing and direction of opening and closing. It performs all the control functions of the gearmotor and the safety peripherals (photocells and flashing light) during the damper opening and closing operations. The control is given by the operator by means of the SC1 key selector, of the STOP - OPEN/CLOSE type, or by means of a pair of push buttons, one NC type for the emergency STOP, the other, NO type, for the control impulses.

The control unit has two types of operation: automatic and step-by-step:

Automatic operation: At one impulse the control unit performs a complete cycle of opening-pause-closing. During opening any subsequent pulses are ignored. During the pause, present only in this type of operation, a pulse resets the time. When closing, one pulse blocks, another one opens the damper. The pause time can be set on SW1, as shown in the following table. A STOP pulse in any operation blocks the damper. In lockout, a command pulse activates the reverse motion to the one preceding the lockout.


Step-by-step operation: At each pulse the control unit cyclically performs the operations OPEN-BLOCK-CLOSE. In practice, during any type of movement, opening or closing, one impulse causes the block, and a subsequent one causes a movement opposite to the previous one. In this operation there is no pause time after the opening of the damper.

When the shutter is open, engaging the photocells inhibits the central unit to any operation; during the closing of the shutter, they intervene as set through SW4: with SW4 on OFF at the engagement of the photocells the shutter blocks and immediately reopens; with SW4 on ON the shutter blocks, to continue then in closing at the disengagement of the photocells.

NOTE: if within 60 seconds, the limit switch does not intervene, the control unit stops anyway.
