The passive infrared (PIR) motion detector for wall/ceiling installation indoors and outdoors (IP54), is a fully automatic light control device capable of controlling a lighting system (see controllable powers in technical data table). During the night or in dark environments, the motion detector switches on the connected lighting system when it detects movement in its range. During the day or in sufficiently daylighted rooms, the built-in twilight sensor saves electricity by switching off the lights, in fact, acting on the twilight switch ( ) determines the brightness level at which the lighting system should LUX on. An adjustable timer ( ) allows you to choose how long the light should remain on after activation. An important feature of the PIR detector is the intelligent driving of the ‘zero crossing’ relay, which optimises load switching by increasing the life of the relay.
