For connecting a backbone section (e.g., the "riser" of an apartment building), it is recommended to wire the distributors in "in-and-out" on the IN terminal (RC=OFF) and dedicate the OUT terminals to indoor stations. RC (end-of-line resistor) should be inserted only on the last branch of the backbone.
