What are they used for? Auxiliary contacts are used for various functions, e.g. self-holding, consent/block, signalling, interlocking.

This system combines the safety of the minimum voltage coil with the continuity of service of the current coil (in case of voltage dips or interruptions , when the power supply is restored the NO contacts close again without the need of an operator's intervention ).
